Porfolio of Works

Net Edit (Working Title)

This is my most recent project, and the one most likely to see release in the near future! In short, it's an extension for Unity which allows you to connect two or more computers running Unity together and work on the same scene collaboratively, in real time. In its current state, it is able to serve scenes directly from the server, copying all assets over the network to client machines, geometry manipulation and creation in real time, as well as the editing of materials and the real time addition of assets that are present on both computers. I previewed this product at my University's graduate show, and it went down pretty well! Before its official release, I hope to add support for the synchronization of asset files, greater communication abilities and to make the core networking more robust.

Qonkers

This was a game prototype I developed with a small team at University, for our professional project assignment. Our task was to create a game that uses QR codes as a core element of its gameplay - what we came up with is a mobile anrdroid game where you can go around, scanning QR codes and using them to generate conkers with which you can use to fight conker battles. I was in charge of the algorithm for generating the conkers (for which I came up with using the MD5 hash of the string recieved from the QR code and examining its bits to set properties), and the schema for storing them.

More to come on my other work!
